Guardians carry responsibility, not sentiment. They need to know they may be asked to follow an activation path, verify identity, or coordinate with others — depending on what you configure.
Have one direct conversation: what you expect, what you do not expect, and who else is in the circle. Ambiguity becomes expensive when time is short.
Backup guardian
If your jurisdiction and your comfort allow, consider more than one guardian so a single point of failure — travel, illness, estrangement — does not block the whole plan.
